On 14 August, as part of the 2023 World Humanitarian Day activities, UNFPA in collaboration with the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (MOWECP), National Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), National Research, and Innovation Agency (BRIN) ,U-INSPIRE, Yayasan Kerti Praja, the Indonesian Disaster Management Society (MPBI), UNWOMEN and UNOCHA launched the booklet titled "Profiles of Indonesian Women Leaders in Disaster Management''.
The booklet features selected profiles of women’s leaders who have played a significant role in disaster risk reduction, including GBV prevention and services at the local, national, and international levels.
