PALU, Central Sulawesi, 25-27 March, 2019: As a follow up of provincial coordination meeting, Palu, Sigi and Donggala district administrations meet to discuss women’s vulnerabilities and needs in emergencies settings with an aim to enhance psychosocial supports and referral mechanism to assist survivors of gender-based violence.  

The intersectoral coordination meetings were attended by representatives of the key stakeholders, namely health, women’s empowerment and child protection, social affairs, police and security officers, youth organizations, women’s rights NGOs and facilitators of all 15 UNFPA-supported Women Friendly Spaces, working to promote women’s rights and gender-based violence prevention efforts in emergencies.
