UNFPA 9th Country Programme (2016-2020) Selama lima tahun terakhir, kami telah mendukung Pemerintah Indonesia dalam bidang kesehatan reproduksi terintegrasi, orang muda dan kesehatan reproduksi remaja, kesetaraan gender, serta data dan dinamika kependudukan. Mari kita lihat apa yang saja telah kami capai selama Country Programme ke-9 (2016-2020).

Over the past five years, we have supported the Government of Indonesia in the areas of integrated reproductive health, youth and adolescent reproductive health, gender equality, and population data and dynamics. Let’s take a look at what we have achieved during our 9th Country Programme (2016-2020).

On September 26, 2019, a strong magnitude 6.5 earthquake struck Ambon, Maluku Province. 50,889 people were affected, 136,030 displaced (as of Septmber 2019). The Reproductive Health and Gender-Based Violence Sub Clusters distributed prepositioned individual kits to the affected to make sure that they are able to maintain their personal health and hygiene in times of crisis.

Lack of access to basic needs, health services & protection heightens the vulnerabilities of 226,000 reproductive age women, including 20,569 pregnant women in 908 IDPs camps across Central Sulawesi. The Government of Indonesia – UNFPA launched humanitarian response in close partnership with members of the Reproductive Health and Protection of Women’s Rights Subclusters for:

  • Distribution of individual hygiene kits
  • Establishing ReproHealth clinics/tents for integrated health services, including safe pregnancy and childbirth
  • Family planning to avoid unwanted pregnancies
  • Adolescent reproductive health
  • Psychosocial support
  • Prevention & management of Gender-Based Violence
  • Establishing Women Friendly Spaces
  • Promoting data availability & utilization in emergency, reconstruction & development

Delivered in close partnership with organizations under the Reproductive Health and Protection of Women’s Rights subclusters with strong involvement of International NGOs and donor countries.
