Jakarta: On September 14, 2011, located at Akmani Hotel Jakarta, UNFPA, in collaboration with Dewan Nasional Perubahan Iklim (DNPI) and BKKBN, hosted a half-day seminar on population dynamics and climate change. Dr. Adrian Hayes, who was commissioned by UNFPA on May 2011 to create a report on the need to take population dynamics into account for climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies, was given the chance to disseminate and shared his findings to the audience that was consisted of DNPI and BKKBN officials. The half-day seminar was conducted as part of the UNFPA strategy in increasing institutional capacities in population and development issues.
