Under the overall guidance of the UNFPA Represenative and direct supervision of the Assistant Representative, the National Programme Officer (NPO) on Gender Equality (GE) substantively contributes to the effective management of UNFPA programmes in the area of gender. S/he analyses and assesses relevant political, social and economic trends and provides substantive inputs to project formulation and evaluation, joint programming initiatives and national development frameworks. The NPO GE guides and facilitates the delivery of UNFPA’s gender equality programmes by monitoring implementation and ensuring achievements of results.
